We are BlueHive and we build brands: from show-stopping exhibits and brand activations, to permanent installs, and we are on the hunt for a full time Account Director to join our account services team. Our AM’s work closely with our seasoned Account Executives in supporting all client needs in the trade show industry and beyond. Responsibilities:
Support sales team in winning new business and preserving existing client relationships
Provide strategic input and problem solving, identifying growth/upsell opportunities and ensuring financial accuracy
Serve as main point of contact for clients: maintain schedules, establish and monitor budgets, updating them on project status and addressing concerns in a timely manner, facilitate all event logistics in clients’ best interest
Liaise between clients and all internal departments (i.e. 3D Design, Project Management, CAD Engineering, Warehouse, etc.) to ensure exemplary project execution
Review contracts, estimates, and invoices for accuracy and financial efficiency as well as handling final reconciliations
Obtain show related service quotes (i.e. shipping, labor) and coordinate with all associated vendors/partners
Facilitate project workflow (i.e. create requests for quote/design, assist with proposal creation, issue job orders and complete post-event reconciliations) to ensure all project needs are relayed to internal departments and executed on time and on budget (in alignment with company standards and client expectations)
Ensure compliance with industry and show rules and regulations, union rules, and internal company policies.
Review post-show reports and handle damage assessments or repair estimates

Requirements:
Proven experience (minimum 4-5 years) in account management in the events, marketing, or exhibit industry
Strong customer service/relationship management skills
Excellent multitasking & organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while managing multiple accounts and priorities
Extreme attention to detail and foresight to anticipate problems, and confidence to analyze and proactively determine solutions
Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment (managing projects as the AE as necessary, i.e. conduct client calls independently, manage proposal creation)
Ability to work with diverse personalities, exude emotional intelligence and awareness, exhibit high energy and maintain a positive outlook
Flexibility to travel to industry events as needed for client support

This role is instrumental in maintaining and nurturing client relationships as well as winning new business as our Account Services team is part of the sales process from napkin sketch through execution.

Position Overview
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving revenue growth through full-cycle sales, from prospecting new business to managing and expanding existing client relationships. At BlueHive Exhibits, this role blends “hunting” for new opportunities with “farming” long-term partnerships.
Relationships are the foundation of our business. Success in this role comes from building strong, mutually beneficial client partnerships that result in a sustainable and rewarding book of business.
Account Executives are given the flexibility to shape their own approach, selecting target industries, developing outreach strategies, and managing their pipeline while leveraging BlueHive’s resources and support systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and quotas
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing and long-term account growth
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty
Conduct client needs assessments to understand current programs and identify opportunities for improvement
Present solutions, prepare proposals, and sell BlueHive’s products and services
Provide post-sale support to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction
Oversee client projects, including trade show participation, installations, and on-site execution as needed
Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to protect and enhance the company’s reputation
Negotiate agreements and maintain accurate records of sales activity and client data
Training & Development
This role will work closely with the VP of Sales & Business Development to gain a deep understanding of BlueHive’s offerings, including exhibit design, project management, and production processes.
